Vlog 6: Yoho National Park and the Yoho Snakebite

Yoho National Park and the Nimble Crew

After some epic adventures in the west, we ventured farther into Canada’s heartland to Yoho National Park. The park borders Banff in the east and Kootenay in the south, and was the second national park to be created in Canada. To honor the rich heritage of this beautiful land, we created a mixed drink. What else were you thinking? A sandwich? Come on. You should know us by now. 

The Yoho Snakebite


4oz Lager, drier the better (We used Kokanee due to limited selection)

4oz Apple cider, drier the better. We used Rock Creek in the video.

Sweeten with spruce tip syrup.

Garnish with spruce tips.

Vlog 4: Vancouver Cocktails: A Whirlwind Tour

Vancouver cocktails: a few of our favorite things

First stop, The Modern Bartender. What good is a cocktail expert without his tools? I’m not exactly sure, but he won’t be mixing drinks. This great little shop on E. Pender in has everything you need to craft amazing beverages. It’s basically a candy store for the cocktail obsessed.

Next up, Whiskey Wiseman Nick Harborne took us to the Irish Heather. Here, we met possibly the most knowledgable whiskey expert we’ve ever seen. We then crafted a smokey cocktail we affectionately named Camp Vickie (it has Miss Vickie’s potato chips in it!!!).

The Shameful Tiki was our third stop, and we’d definitely recommend a visit. Check out our linked post for full details on the amazing tiki vibe.

And what would an exploration of Vancouver cocktails be without a trip to Keefer Bar, one of the world’s 50 top cocktail bars?

We then made a custom cocktail to embody the awesome hippie vibe of Kitsilano. Check it out.

Vlog 3: Disc Golf On Pender Island

We took a ferry to Pender Island, got some disc golf practice, and had an amazing meal. Check out what a Nimble night of disc golf and cocktails looks like.

Pender Island actually hosts one of the most unique disc golf courses in the world. It’s situated in the Strait of Georgia, so you’ve gotta take a boat to get there. When it’s not raining out, the island boasts perfect summer weather.

I think our highlights included the intense glamping with good food, the peace we always experience in nature, and trick shots from our OneWheels. Want to meet us on a future outdoor adventure? Let us know. We’re filling out summer with nature, travel, and cocktails.
